Our performance playbook

• Lazy-load everything. The 3D canvas is dynamically imported with ssr: false so the first paint is pure HTML.
• Clamp the device pixel ratio. We cap DPR at 2 and adapt it under load.
• Pause off-screen. Render loops stop the moment a scene scrolls out of view.
• Respect the user. prefers-reduced-motion and low-power devices get an elegant static fallback.
